Episode 24 of The Sailing Podcast is an interview with Webb Chiles – he has had 8 boats, 6 wives and circumnavigated 5 times – including being the first American to sail solo around Cape Horn. If you ever needed a definition of living a life of passion and adventure you will find it in Webb Chiles – sailor, writer and artist.
I interviewed Webb after having listener Paul T recommend him as a guest and it was a real privilege to have spoken with such a great American.

During the interview I mentioned how fantastic it is that so many sailing books that were out of print are now available in Kindle editions so that they can be read with any type of Kindle Reader. I recently purchased the ASUS Transformer TF300T which is an Android operating system although you can use a Kindle App to read books – you just visit the Google equivalent of the Apple App store – Google Play
Here are the books by Webb Chiles that you can buy Kindle editions of:
Webb Chiles has an extensive website with free PDF downloads of some of his books however, you may like to support what he does by purchasing his books from Amazon.
You can find Webb’s website at www.inthepresentsea.com and have a look around his site as there is a plethora of information and journal (blog) entries that are regularly updated.
